The one thing I love about my mom is what a

great grandma she is. Every summer I go stay

with her. She know my kids love to swim so

she has a hot tub on her porch.

I get to visit with my sister in law

It's getting to be a tradition also to go to

Showlow, Az. and Grandma & Grandpa rent

us all a hotel room and we hang out and swim!

Easton has begun a series of IV treatments called IVIG therapy (Intravenous Immunoglobulin). Basically, IVIG contains antibodies extracted from the plasma of thousands of donors. He receives the medicine through an IV and the process takes about 4-5 hours. This is targeted to help control inflamation and boost his immune system which together should improve his overall health. He has had three treatments so far and is planned to take 20 of these treatments about once a month. These treatments cost over $3,000 each so we are hoping and praying it helps! We love you so much Easton and will do everything in our power to help you!

I just thoight I'd wish one of my best friends

a happy birthday! Janae is the most amazing

person I know. She always amazes me. When

I first met Janae I thought she was the most

striking, beautiful person! Knowing her now

for as long as I have I really think this girl

is perfect inside and out! She really doesn't

have any flaws and I am truly grateful I get

to have her in my life! I only wish I could be

half of what she is! Maybe she'll rub off on me!

We went to visit my Mom over New Year's weekend and we got caught in a snow storm and decided to stay the night in ShowLow. We stayed at a hotel with a heated pool that had an access door directly to the snow outside. We initially bet Skyler, Cali, Brydon and Crew to go outside and do a "snow angel" and the bets progressed from there! It was so much fun and what was initially a bummer by getting caught in a snow storm turned out to be a great and fun night with memories that will last forever!

Here's a before and after picture of

Crew today. What the heck happened!

This morning I dressed Crew and

didn't put a undershirt under his sweat

shirt. I always do but was lazy and

thought,"What the heck, it might save

me on laundry anyways". I go to pick

up the kids and my first thought was

who the heck would dress their kid like

that! Well to my suprise it was my kid!

I guess he got hot. Crew being the kid

he is didn't even care! I think he actually

liked the look. My lesson learned was to

make sure I dress my children properly

so that they don't look homeless!

My grandpa calls me today and decides he want

to take me and Cali in his plane up to see my

family and have lunch. I don't get to see my

family very much (which can get lonesome)

or grandpa and I really needed it!

Cali loves flying in grandpa's plane! Grandpa

calls her his "Miss America".

Grandpa Johnson will be 83 years old this

year and still can fly a plane but he always has

his pilot and is the co-pilot. He is amazing.

This is Sunrise ski resort on the flight up. I

can't wait to ski! I can't believe there is

snow.

The flight was 45 minutes there and 45 minutes

back. It takes me 4 hours just to drive there. It

went by so fast! I am so thankful for my grandpa!

He is the greatest man you'll ever know! It's so

fun being able to spend time with him and my

family. I love you guys.

Halloween fun 2008!

I don't know who loves Halloween more! My

mother or my children. This year Grandpa

and Grandma Tieman came and went trick

or treating with them. It was a lot of fun!

These costumes were a hit! Everyone was

started a new tradition in our family when a

child turns 13 years old, they get to choose

where they want to go on a vacation with just

his/her parents. This year, it was a birthday-

football! We have just started up the season.

helments in 100 degree weather Monday

thru Friday running and hitting! Do they

love it? Crazy thing is they live to play!

It's hard for mom to watch but they do look

Cali does competive gym making it impossible

to wear glasses so she wears contact lenses.

She has had her contacts since the third grade

but has begged for glasses! The last eye exam

she had, she decided she wanted them so bad

she would pay for them herself! Needless to say

my daughter now has glasses. She really did

pay for them. What a good kid!

Easton's feet at almost a year old! 2006

Easton has always loved the water! He also

loves eating dirt! A little too much!

Easton was a very cuddly baby until 14 months.

Easton on his first b-day eating tons of cake and

drinking a bottle of milk! Who would of thought

he would soon change and not be able to enjoy

the things he loves most. At 12 months Easton

would stand on the couch and yell for his siblings.

It was the cutest Cali, Skyler, Brydon, and Crew

you have ever heard. I never even thought I could

lose such a sweet thing but by 14 months he no

longer talked and couldn't look at you anymore.

At 17 months we got him diagnosed after waiting

the three months, because they thought I was

crazy to think anything was wrong making it not

a priority,I was told he had characteristics of

autism. A year later at 26 months we finally got

the true diagnosis.Our little Easton is autistic.

Since 19 months we have done many therapies

with him. Speech, O.T,developmental, structured

habilation and ABA.Structured habilation and

ABA services are not covered because they say

my little Easton isn't severe enough. Making the

process of getting all the stuff he needs, expensive.

The other services being covered by the

government thank heavens. Easton has a total of

15+ hours a week of therapy. In addition to that

we visit a bio medicine doctor monthly. Easton

is on supplement's consisting of Chromium,

Magnessium, Lithium, Iodine, Zinc, C-

Spironolactione, Floconazole, Acetyl-L-Carnitine,

Melatonin, and now an antibiotic also.

The antibiotic is for Giardia. Yes, a parasite

he got somehow. This picture explains it

clearly! We thought his eating dirt and drinking

any water was just a boy thing but we were so

wrong! It's his little autistic thing. He loves licking

everything that is dirty! Not so shocking to

hear this news I guess.

So needless to say we are constantly watching

trying to keep these filthy things out of his

mouth. He is also on a Gluten-free diet. This

means he has no wheat,eggs,flour, corn in his

diet. He also has no dairy. (Maybe that's why

he eats everything else!)

Easton is delayed in speech and social skills.

( social is coming) But as for being delayed in

other area's we have found that all we are

doing is helping him. His eye contact is much

better. We actually can rock him to sleep now

at 26 months for the first time since 14 months.

Easton is now officially going to be starting

"big boy school". He will be in the public school

system along with the other therapies

starting August 6,2008.

He will be a busy boy! He is very busy so I

think he will do great! I'm amazed that he's

not even three and doing all he is doing! I

wouldn't change him for nothing! He is the

love of our lives even if he is way hard!

Every little thing he does seems to be a

miracle to us! We can't wait to see what an

amazing person he becomes!

Brydon was baptized June 14th, 2008

Brydon and his cousin Riley shared this special

day together. They were blessed together, even

born at the same hospital just hours apart

together! What's next!

The family is so proud of Brydon! Thanks to

He is our most social child! He loves friends!

Brydon's sister invited some friends so she

wouldn't be totally surrounded by boys!

although she is used to it being the only girl

ner! This seems so weird because he's as big

as our 2 almost 3 year old . Granted our 2

Cali was a golden scholar her 4th

grade year.

Brydon thinks the most important

thing in school is recess to play ball

with his friends .

Crew loves everything about school.

He will be in all day kindergarten

when school starts up again. This

seems not right considering he

weighs & is just a little taller than

his 2 year old brother Easton!

I can't believe this school year is

over! Time goes by so fast! Next

school year we will have all five

children in public school!

broke his leg and was in a wheel chair for over

a month . It drove him crazy that he wasn't able

to play. Any of you that know Brydon know

he just better get used to these things because

Easton is our special spirit. We don't know where we would be without him in our lives. He loves doing puzzles and looking at books while hanging out with Mom! Easton is two years old but has the body build of a linebacker.

Brydon is almost 8 years old. He is our child that if anything bad can happen, it happens to him. He has had stitches, a broken leg, and this year playing football at recess a kid hit him in the mouth cracking his permanent tooth in half. He loves sports. He is now playing baseball and can't wait until football season starts up again so he can finally play tackle football like his big brother Skyler! Brydon is very social and likes to hang with everyone!

Cali is now 9 years old. She is a gymnast competing at level 4 and is actually moving up to level 5 soon. Her loves are drawing, writing, reading and hanging out with friends. She plays her violin rarely but does like it .........just too busy right now.
